As we make our way into a transitional period, where dresses are replaced with jeans and strappy tops are replaced with knits, I thought I would put together an outfit that I’ve been loving these days. Yes, I have worn this exact outfit more than once in the past two weeks, and I have absolutely no shame. There’s just something about pairing a matching top and heels together with a great pair of jeans.

About the Outfit

Recently, I have been living in this H&M jersey. I actually need to go back and purchase the blush colour too, but then again I’m afraid that I’ll live in that one too. I’ve realised that I love wearing black during this transitional period, and I’ll wear it proudly. My pretty lilac chiffon top is from Woolies, and I’ve paired it with my super comfortable heels from Rubi South Africa, which is an in-house brand of the Cotton On group. You guys are always asking me where Rubi is or what it is, and you’ve been seeing it all these years! Haha, so Rubi shoes can be found in any Cotton On store. Personally, I feel like the Canal Walk and Waterfront branches have the best variety of Rubi shoes. I always seem to find a great variety of the latest heels there.

About the Shoot

I try to link my outfits up with my locations (if you haven’t noticed for the past 4 years!), and this time its no different. This outfit was shot at the gorgeous Origin Café in Hudson Street in town, which is the perfect location for a meeting or if you wanna meet up with your girls for a quick coffee date. I notice the beautiful decor the minute I walked into the café, which showcased stunning lights and inviting booths. The café also has two brands within the building so you can have a little shopping trip whilst having a yummy cuppa 😉 Haha!

What are your key items during the transitional period?

Until next time,
