Lets get back into blogging, shall we? Its been a really long time since I’ve posted an actual blog post and I feel pretty bad about it. I don’t want to linger on the reasons (not that there are any concrete ones) for me not blogging because I actually just want to jump straight into this post.

Many of you sent me DMs on Instagram to ask if I could create some content focusing on some winter staples for 2018. I’ve decided to do just that, starting with this look as the first post. I kept things quite plain in this outfit, pairing basics together in similar colour palettes.

I’ve spoken about layering so many times since I started blogging a few years ago, and I still stand by this. Adding various textures over one another creates such a beautiful outfit as a whole. In this outfit, I’ve layered a white oversized denim over a H&M fuzzy knit. And because the colours are the brightest, you completely look past my black jeans and instead notice how the white boots compliment the entire outfit.

I know this was a short one, but I just wanted to get the feel for writing again. I think we’re off to a good start!
