Winter Neutrals
Good day darls!
Ah I am excited for you guys to finally see this post. It’s so simple, but one of my favourite looks because it’s so comfy, and keeps you warm all day, yo! Haha. Lets start off by mentioning that I can’t get enough of denim this winter. In the past, winter was my season for thick stockings, two pairs of leggings, and thick coats. Now its all about the wooly jerseys and skinny jeans. I think that if you find the perfect pair of jeans, you can pair them with so many different things, ranging from tank tops, blazers and jerseys, along with boots, gum boots, sneakers, and pumps.
We drove around Durbanville hills, looking for a beautiful location for shooting. Biggest mistake to have a shoot in the middle of winter on a wine farm – I basically had frost bite during this shoot, but that old saying, “suffer for beauty” was running through my mind the entire time. This place is gorgeous!
About the Outfit
For this little outfit, I decided to go with my favourite colour scheme – neutrals. I think its gorgeous and suits most people when paired with the correct items. This jacket is probably my favourite at the moment! It’s a waterfall cotton and suede material, and is absolutely PERFECTO for these chilly days and nights. To be dead honest with you, I don’t know if these babies are still in stock at Woolies at the mo because I bought it about two months ago. There is a similar brown one on their online store, so you can check that out here. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently cut some good ol’ bangs again. I haven’t had bangs since I was in my first year at university. Point is, this shoot was taken before I cut my bangs. What are your thoughts on bangs (for those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, bangs is another term for a ‘fringe’) and would you rock them?
I hope you have an amazing day, and keep posted to the blog for some exciting news coming up! Yay!
Until then,
