As promised, here is my second outfit for the beach look post. I am absolutely bonkers about this kimono, really. I think a kimono is the perfect item to own when you’re in doubt about what to wear over a plain top, or just to spice up an outfit. I have also seen some really awesome ones all over Cape Town – Cotton On, Portobello Road, Topshop, and the list goes on. I decided to purchase this one as it reminds me of bubblegum, or paint splashed against a canvas (yay, art!).

The high-waisted shorts are to die for, and they are vintage! I found them at Portobello Road in Kenilworth about 3 weeks ago and fell in love. I don’t usually buy high-waisted shorts because I can never find one to suit my body shape, but this one is so comfortable and fits me like a glove.
