Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review
I’ve been enjoying reviewing foundations these days, and this time it’s no different. I was lucky enough to be sent the new and improved Double Wear foundation from Estée Lauder.
About the Foundation
I decided to check out the site to see what this foundation claims to be, and this is what it says:
“15-hour staying power. Flawless all day. This worry-free, long-wearing makeup stays fresh and looks natural through heat, humidity, nonstop activity. Won’t change colour, smudge or come off on clothes. Feels lightweight and comfortable. Now the flawless look you see in the morning is the look you keep all day.”
Now what I’ve come to realise is that this brand stays true to what they claim (this is not an ad btw). I was a little bit skeptical on trying out the foundation because it’s a medium to full-coverage foundation, and it is supposed to last all day so surely it has a matte finish, right? Wrong. The foundation feels so lightweight on the skin but does the job in covering up any imperfections that you would like to hide from the world. It is definitely not a matte foundation, as I’ve noticed I still have a beautiful glow in the skin even before I’ve added any highlight or fixing spray. Lastly, it also has SPF10 combined into the foundation which is perfect for the days when you completely forget to add SPF into your makeup routine. Although it is only a little bit, a little bit will help your skin 🙂
