English Autumn
As we start off the month of May, I thought it would be perfect to kick it off with an autumn outfit. I cannot believe that it’s the middle of 2014 already, and the colder season is upon us. I quite like winter, only because of pretty little outfits like this. I am a huge fan of trench coats, although I will admit – I haven’t had a chance to purchase a black trench coat yet. If you know where I could find great quality trenchies, comment below. I would love to check it out!
About the Outfit
For this outfit, I decided to stick to a simple monochromatic colour scheme with a pop of gold. Lol, whenever I think of the colour gold, it takes me back to ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ when Gold member exclaims that he “LOVES GOOOOLD!” (literally laughing as I am typing this). Swiftly moving along, I paired this gorgeous cream trench coat with an A-line skirt and polka-dot shirt. I felt like a preppy English young woman, ready to set her foot in the fascinating world but not before having a delicious cup of tea. I added a thick pair of stockings, as well as these snazzy ankle boots. These boots have gotten a few strange looks in the past, but I find them so unique. That is one of the characteristics of fashion, right? Seeing the beauty in pieces that others usually will not see.
