Treated

If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen that Lorenzo and I were treated to an amazing day with Stellenbosch Experience where we had an adventurous bicycle tour, a three-course lunch, and a relaxing spa treatment.Thereafter, we were able to wander around Lanzerac Wine Estate to explore all that it offers. We found a cute spot that was perfect for this look. It was romantic and the lighting was just too good to not snap a few shots.

About the Outfit

So there’s a funny story behind this dress. I was gifted this beautiful dress by a close friend of mine who bought it online. I won’t mention which online store it was, but just know that it is one of the worst international stores that we’ve ever come across with the worst service. The actual garments looked nothing like it did on the photos that they provided, so naturally it didn’t fit properly so she decided to give it to me. I’m quite short, so this dress fits my height perfectly. I decided to pair it with this pink bucket bag and simple black heels, as the dress has a busy print. That’s a secret to making printed dress (or any garment) work – pairing simple pieces with it!

It also may seem like I’m wearing a belt that naturally goes with the dress, but that’s actually a thin scarf choker that I used as a belt simply because I didn’t have a belt for the dress.

Have you ever had a schlep when it comes to online shopping?

Until next time,

    1. Thank you so much darling. I appreciate the kind words.. Hmm, I’d actually recommend Pick ‘n Pay clothing for a dress like this. I’ve seen similar ones there recently. And a bonus is that its super inexpensive! Have a good one xx
