It was time for a change-up in the way that I dress, but that doesn’t necessarily getting rid of my signature bohemian look because we all know that I’ll never give that up. I just felt that I never really showcase the other type of style that I have – the sexier, simple style.

About the Outfit

I’ve started to add simpler, more minimalistic pieces into my wardrobe that don’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve also started to ensure that the item is versatile and/or timeless. I found this sexy LBD online from a brand called Daily Friday. I was quite surprised at how cheap it was because I could easily see a dress like this being sold for R500-R700 at a store like Zara or so on. My strappy heels are also a little bargain that I found online, and I had to have them when I saw the colour. I think it was actually the beautiful shade of tangerine that convinced me to get them – Something different to the usual, but still effortless and simple.

  1. You look stunning! I have a question, I love style and fashion but I am a huge bargain hunter. I’ve been wanting to blog for the longest time but (correct me if I am wrong) but alot of bloggers wear high end stuff its a bit intimidating sometimes. Is being a fashion blogger about the high end stuff or a hint of everything & more about how you reflect your style?

    1. Hello Lynette! haha, bargain hunter is my second name ๐Ÿ˜‰ Each blogger has their own style and target market, so it all depends on who your trying to reach/influence. Personally, I always buy items that are reasonably priced but “look expensive” – like this entire outfit for example! I got the bag and heels for around R200 each on sale, and the dress was just over R200.. These days, you barely find items that are good quality and under R250! So to answer your question, being a fashion blogger is all about how you choose to portray your personal style whether its high-end or budget-friendly. Its all about how you perceive it and portray it to the world ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope this answers your question! Thank you for the support love xx
