Pink.

So, as you could probably guess – This post has some pink in it. I received this gorgeous neon pink and grey scarf for my birthday from one of my friends and I’m absolutely crazy about it. The combination could not have been more perfect seeing these are my two favourite colours. I decided to go full-on “comfortable” in this look, seeing this is how usually dress on a daily basis – jeans and tee. I mean, I don’t think I’d wear heels to campus, or the mall, for that matter.

Wanderlust

So recently, I’ve been feeling very “wanderlust” and the fact that my boyfriend left to Durban last week does not help one bit. For those of you who don’t know him or follow him on IG, he went with a few buddies on a road trip to the “State of Stance” up in Durban. Pretty much sucks that I had class throughout this time because you guys know how long I’ve been complaining about wanting to go on a road trip, or travel for that matter.
I was looking through different travel agencies in Cape Town and the different types of holidays that they offer, when I came across Thailand once again. I’ve never been to Thailand or heard that much about it so I decided to do my research on it and find a good price tag associated with a holiday over there. And boy oh boy, did I find one! According to Google, 1ZAR = 3 THB (Thai Baht). How awesome is that? Especially for a student. So I don’t know when I will be going, but just the thought of it makes me so excited. I want to travel so badly. Cape Town is absolutely gorgeous, but I would like to get out there more often and explore the world (before I get married and have babies and all of that good commitment stuff!).

Traveling

So that’s my plan when it comes to my traveling anytime soon. I still want to go away for a weekend or something. Anywhere would be great, as long as there’s driving and exploring. Do you ever have day trips? I remember a while back my family and I would always have day trips to random places like Hermanus or even further. It’s pretty cool to explore your own country! In 2012, we traveled to the Eastern Cape and it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had because I explored places in my own country that I didn’t even know existed. I think I’ll do a #throwback on that trip real soon on IG, so you can see what a beautiful country we live in. The kids that you meet, people you meet, places you sleep in, and areas that you see – I highly doubt you will see it overseas.

Do you ever just think about your life right now and your life in about 5 years’ time? I was thinking about this the other day, and then my friends and I had a fat conversation about it. I know for a fat fact that I won’t be doing the same things I am doing now. I feel as though it’s good to have a ‘foundation’ to build your life on. I still want to study further (not in the same field though) and travel. Gosh. Who knows? Life is so exciting yet so scary at the same time.

I hope you’re having a fabulous week so far. We’ll be in contact real soon (hugs).
