Ms Paula Bee X RiZik Beauty (closed)

Are you keen to hear about a brand that I recently discovered and a little giveaway at the end?

On Monday I had lash extensions done for the very first time!

As you can imagine, I was pretty nervous and skeptical on having it done seeing it was my first time and I’d previously been told about the possible pros and cons concerning the lashes. I met up with Zulfah, the owner of RiZik Beauty, to discuss my thoughts and she happily informed me of the process and what I can expect. I was definitely calm and excited after meeting with her.

About RiZik Beauty:

MPB: Tell me a bit about what got you interested in the health and beauty industry?
RiZik: Growing up, I fondly remember playing and experimenting “makeup makeup” with my sister. I love helping people and making them feel good. I personally never liked medicine and preferred to ‘heal’ an ache or pain through reflexology and massaging. Combining these two passions was my life long career goal.

MPB: Why “RiZik”? What does it mean?
RiZik: RiZik is Arabic for health, wealth and wellbeing. It’s quite fitting!

MPB: Please tell me about your brand – when you started it and what has kept you going.
RiZik: I started my beauty business in 2006. I throughly enjoy the rewarding feeling that I’d get each time I was able to make a client look and feel great.

MPB: What kind of treatments do you specialize in and can anyone pop in for one?
RiZik: I specialize in health and beauty treatments from mani+pedicures, reflexology, waxing, tinting, G5 Slimming sessions, spray tanning, makeup for bridal/wedding and events.

MPB: What is the difference between mink lashes and synthetic lashes? Which is best?
RiZik: Mink lashes are more softer, natural looking while synthetic lashes is the complete opposite. Synthetic lashes have a more hard and plastic look and feel to it. This is why I love working with mink lashes!

I’m thoroughly enjoying my mink lashes. You have no idea what a great feeling it is to wake up, shower, and not put any mascara on for the day because my lashes are already on point. The entire process takes approximately 90 minutes and you can choose the length and the kind of lashes – although RiZik and I both recommend Mink lashes.

For booking and appointments, please email Zulfah at [email protected]

On behalf of RiZik Beauty and I, we would love to treat a lucky reader to have lash extensions done (Eeeek! How exciting!).
