Hello!

It feels so great to be on “holiday” for a bit. I say holiday in inverted commas because I have an assignment due when I go back to campus on the 7th of April. How boring. However, I am looking forward to Easter and all the goodness that comes along with it!

Lé Skirt:

Who of you remember THIS skirt? I wore it to my first event last year to a blogger’s brunch with my fellow bloggers such as Jade, Qaanita, and many more. I love skirts, especially A line skirts, so when I saw this gorgeous Khosi Nkosi skirt I had to have it. I know that they have very similar ones in store at the moment, ranging from about R700-800. They have the cutest dresses too!

To take a turn with this look and throw in a curve ball, I went with sneakers (my mom calls them takkies, my word). We all know that the Adidas Superstar is back in action, so when I saw these Superstar Up on the Sportscene website, it was calling my name. I’m a heels type of girl, but sometimes you want something that’s casual but still fashionable. They are available in black too, but I have a policy about white – white is right. I own so much white clothing! I’m pretty much obsessed.

I decided to use the headband as a boob tube (yay for flat chest!) and I think it gave the look a pretty cool, quirky feel.

What do you think of the Superstar Up?
