Bloggers’ Brunch with Grey Garnet

My exams are finally over, and let me tell you that it feels amazing knowing that I can chill and not have to cut it short because I need to study for a Neuropsychology exam or Personality Theories. For those of you who are still writing exams, I truly feel for you. The struggle is real but you will survive just as I have (As if this is some sort of Survivor SA competition, haha).

On the 31st of May, Lorenzo and I were invited to a bloggers’ brunch hosted by Grey Garnet, a PR company, at the Three Cities Bantry Bay Suite Hotel. Upon arrival, I walked into a room full of beautiful bloggers. It was such an awesome feeling knowing that each of these ladies are passionate about the same things that I’m passionate about, which is probably why I got so excited to meet each one of them. After a while, we were warmly welcomed by the company’s managing director, Mariaan Christian, who let us know all about the relationship between bloggers and companies. Besides Mariaan chatting to us about her company, Margaux Knuppe from Rubybox, Jill Hector, Chantal Orton and Megan Duckett spoke to us about all things fashion-related and how it came to be a big part of their lives.

In my opinion, bloggers love chatting and getting to know one another, while taking tons of selfies – that’s exactly what we did and loved it. We were treated to a bag full of goodies by various sponsors such as Rain, Cotton On, Optiphi, and Sorbet. Thank you once again to the sponsors, I am pretty sure we all loved our gifts.
